The common way to clean is to have two tanks, one containing a very strong solution and the other a “watered down” or weaker solution. This works in theory, but the years of experience in the field, allows me to understand when the going gets busy, these tanks turn into nothing more than two “strong” tanks, to make up for speed.
When cleaning roofs, the ratio or strength of the active ingredient “sodium hypochlorite” and the flow or ability to deliver this solution to the surface is what dictates your cleaning units. Do you think a busy roof cleaner is going to wait for a weak chemical to work when he has piles of roofs lined up to do? No, of course not, that weak tank just became a strong tank. Now you have a technician with strong cleaning ingredients coupled with a large flow roof cleaning pump, being rushed to clean fast to get to the next job. Not a good scenario.
We have eliminated this huge mistake of a roof cleaning system described above with our injection system. This system will replicate a desired ratio of active ingredients without pre-mixing. We simply pull out of one tank of sodium hypochlorite and inject our manufacturer’s approved additives into the line via a custom pumping system. We have obtained and replicated very large gallons per minute down to smaller flow patterns and ratio’s.

We may use a 2% solution because we can dial in this ratio where others will be spraying that same 5-6% solution they sprayed on the last dozen roofs they cleaned.
